Questions new people might ask...
When are the weekly service times?
Sunday's Small Group Bible Studies begin at 10:00 a.m. Currently we have groups for adults, toddlers, children and youth.
Sunday Worship Service begins at 11:00 a.m. and usually ends shortly after 12:15 p.m. We provide a nursery as well.
Thursday's Bible Study & Prayer Time is from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Everyone is welcome at any of these gatherings and we typically have visitors every week.
Where should I park?
At the front of the property, along Church Street, is our primary parking. For handicap and senior parking drive around to the opposite side of the property and there is a designated parking area closest to the front doors of the church, just across from Riverdale park.
Where is the main church entrance?
This is a bit tricky from the main parking lot. The main church building, which is the largest building, is behind the two "L" shaped buildings. Once you exit your car, just walk between the two buildings, through the courtyard and you will see the main entrance to your left. From the handicap and senior parking, you will see the main entrance as the closest entrance to you.
Where do I sit?
There are no reserved seats, so feel free to come in and sit wherever you feel most comfortable.
What do people typically wear?
Everyone wears what they feel most comfortable in. You will see everything from suits to tees. Just be you and know that we have no expectations.
What should I expect when I arrive?
You can expect a laid-back and comfortable environment. People will smile, probably say "hey," and let you know that you are welcome. You will not be asked to do anything other than enjoy being with us.
What are your worship services like?
We begin with good music and a welcome. First we sing congregation songs and typically a lot of people stand and sing. You are welcome to stand, sing or just sit and observe. Simply do what is comfortable for you. Then we typically have special music performed by members of our praise team. After that our pastor will share a spiritual message from the Bible. At the end we always have a time of response with a song. Some stand and sing, some pray, others just observe. It's all up to the individual. Finally we have a prayer to end the service and typically most people enjoy hanging out and talking.
Check out our Youtube or Facebook pages to get a feel for our music and messages. Currently all worship services are in English.
Is childcare available?
Yes, we have a nursery for babies and toddlers during the service. All of our nursery workers have had background checks and are capable of caring for babies, including feeding and changing diapers. Just ask one of our greeters in the front lobby to direct you to the nursery.
